Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner | Maybelline

Hello lovelies!

It's been a while I posted. I've been so busy lately. But it's good to be back to share a review of one of my favorite eye liners these days. 

I've got big, bulgy eyes so I love wearing eyeliners. Most of the times I use kohl pencil eyeliners since they are super fast to apply but down side for me is that these melt on your skin and can get smudgy. My sister has always used liquid eyeliners which take a while & practice for application. I saw my friend using a gel eyeliner with a brush & gave it a try. That was the day - I had to get a gel eyeliner!

I went for Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in black. It comes in black packaging with a small tub containing the gel. It also contains a specially application brush. The brush is not too long, just the perfect length for precision. The bristles are densely packed yet soft. The best thing about this brush is that it allows you to control the thickness of your application. The gel tub is small & contains a good amount of gel.

My views: I Love this gel liner. It applies so easily & the brush gives you great control over the application. The brush works great if you wish to create exaggerated looks and wings. The gel is so smooth & creamy & glides easily onto your lids. It looks intense & normal-to-matt once applied. It doesn't smudge at all though I got the washable eye liner! I found it much better than an eye pencil or an eye shadow. If you like your eyeliner intense & matte this is the one for you!

I am ALWAYS in need of a small clutch purse - why? I always want to carry my lip gloss & touch-up makeup stuff with me wherever I go. Lasting Finish Lipstick in 103 | Kate Moss Rimmel

Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss Rimmel

Hi pretty ladies,

 

Followed by eye pencils, lipstick is definitely my  favorite & essential part of daily makeup routine. And I'm sure same is the case with you pretty ladies. Lipstick 'complete' your makeup. There's a lot of debate in the makeup world as to which is more important makeup tool - lipstick or foundation.  For me, it's definitely lipstick! 

 

I regular purchase lipsticks whenever I go shopping. I like to try different brands but mostly I'm not experimental in terms of shades. I usually stick to the shades I like most & these include almost all shades of pinks & corals. Other than lipstick shades I also have a preference of lipstick texture. Lipsticks are available in a wide verity of textures but I usually prefer matte. Since I keep on biting my lips all the time (not good, I know!) I like matte because they stay longer on your lips. To control dryness that matte lipstick causes I always top these off with a little lip gloss (totally crazy, I know!)

 

Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss Rimmel absolutely matches my taste! Having seen these around on blogosphere for a while I thought of giving it a try. The shade I picked & really like is 103. This is a beautiful pinks shade of medium tone. Not too light, not too deep, just perfect. The color is rich & velvety with a matte finish. Most of the matte lipsticks leave your lips dry & chapped but I'm really impressed with this one since it applies so evenly on the lips & doesn't leave them chapped. Also worth mentioning is the way it smell, mild & sweet not to forget the affordability!

Kate Moss & Rimmel together created her first ever signature lipstick collection. Kind of reminds me of Lily Cole & her signature collection with The Body Shop. All the shades in this collection are gorgeous & captures the 'edge' of her unique look. I haven't had the chance of trying a lot of Neutrogena products in the past so I decided to try out with their skincare first. I thought it would be a good idea to start with Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Triple Action Cleanser along with the oh-so-famous Wave Sonic,  review of which I plan to do later. I needed something more effective than a regular face wash & the initially information on the back of this product was impressive. Hence the purchase.

As claimed by Neutrogena  itself - Its the no # 1 dermatologist recommended skincare brand. It offers the world's most loved beauty & skincare lines for all types of skin. Neutrogena started very small back in 1930 producing specialty cosmetics & a patented formula mild, clear & unique soap.

The first thing I really like about Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Triple Action Cleanser is the beautiful packaging as it comes in a squeezy tube with colors bright orange & silver. The texture is fine, medium to thick cream formulation with micro-beads. I quite like the smell which is slightly medicated but still pleasant & mild. 

The special thing about this cleanser is that it's triple action - its cleans, exfoliates & purifies. Clinically proven to reduce blackheads in just 7 days! It can be used in 3 different ways:

Cleanser: As a cleanser it deep cleans pores, removes dirt & excess oil - the main cause of blackheads, without over drying the skin.

Exfoliating Scrub: Enriched with micro-beads it gently exfoliates & removes dead skin cells to help unclog pores & loosen existing blackheads.

Cleansing Mask: As a cleansing mask it purifies the skin deep down to help control shine hence leaving your skin visibly clearer. 

My experience with this product has been really good. Though I didn't see any dramatic change in the visibility of blackheads, it sure has helped in reducing them.
