Mandarin, Clove & Cinnamon Scented Candle | #Holidays2015

One of my favorite (and affordable) home decor items from my #Christmas2015 shopping is the Mandarin, Clove & Cinnamon Scented Candle from Marks & Spenser. As the New Year #2016 is just a day away I thought it was the best time to light up this beautiful candle and feel relaxed during this holiday season.
Mandarin, Clove & Cinnamon are the scents which have always been associated with Christmas and the holiday season. Warm winter aromas of spice cinnamon, peppery cloves, nutmeg and zesty sweet mandarin bring much need comfort and cheer to these cold days and nights. Looking at the peaceful candle nicely lit on my bedside is such a treat. I love to snuggle in my bed with a book in hand and can spend an entire day like that. What I love most about this candle is that it is hand filled with selected decorative natural botanical which are slightly visible through the candle wax. Not to forget the beautiful aroma of this candle while lit, has amazing aromatherapy properties. It works wonders for me! At a price tag of £ 7.50 £ 3.50, this candle is a beautiful decor item for your space.

In the last post I shared how I spent (maybe a bit too much) on Christmas decor online this year. One of the things that I really wanted to have for decoration this time around are scented candles! I love scented candles - so much so that I am not too sure if I would pick a favorite perfume or a scented candle if I come across such a situation; it will be that difficult to decide! Scented candles have such amazing aromatherapy properties and these work wonders for me! Next time you cannot decide what to buy for your lovely lady, try a scented candle.
I came across these super adorable Mandarin, Clove and Cinnamon Scented Glitter Tealights with red glitter at Marks & Spencer online. They also had Frankincense and Myrrh Scented Glitter Tealights which had gold glitter on them as well as Winter Scented Glitter Tealights with silver glitter. I personally liked red ones as these went with my Christmas tree red baubles and rest of the decoration theme around the house. Red is also a very radiant and warm color and that is what I wanted, to create a cosy ambiance around the house. And, did I mention these smell like heaven!? Though I do adore the fragrance of Frankincense as well, I believe the beautiful aroma of zesty sweet Mandarin, peppery Cloves and spice Cinnamon is a very comforting which really set the mood as this is one of the signature Christmas scents. Once lit, these are relaxing yet festive to look at and a wonderful way to cheer up during these cold days and nights. Mandarin, Clove and Cinnamon Scented Glitter Tealights come in a pack of twenty and at £ 5.00 is a really good purchase.

It's the most wonderful time of the year..
Last night I unpacked my favorite Christmas Tree and assembled it into one piece (am I late?). I still have not put up all the decorations yet but wanted to, at least place it where it should be at this time of the year. I ordered a lot of Christmas decorations online this season, I may have overdone it too but its Christmas after all! That's what we do at this time of the year. I know I need to be modest and have a kind heart towards the less fortunate but I am sure spending on the festivity during this time makes everything so magical and worthwhile. Do you agree?
Over the weekend, I received my first order of the season, and I would love to share the details with you. I ordered a Set of Two Reindeer Mugs from Next online which I think are really cute, festive as well as economical. At £ 7.00 these seemed like a good purchase. These came in two colors - red and white. Both have similar pattern of reindeers printed on them. However, on the red mug the reindeer is white in color with a faded design and on the white one it is printed in red. I love this contrast of red and white and cannot wait to use these for my morning coffee!

My #NextmasWishlist!
My absolute favorite season of the year is here!
Christmas season is on full bloom. A wonderful time for families and friends to get together and take some time off from the routine. My blogger friends are going crazy with their wishlists which inspired, rather forced me to create my own. This season I wanted to kick-start my Christmas wishlist with NEXT hence the #NextmasWishlist! I was actually invited by Next to create a wishlist and I just couldn't wait to get started. My #NextmasWishlist this year seems more inclined towards Christmas decor this year. So here are my top 10 picks from NEXT.

1. The Sequin Gingerbread Christmas Sweater Top £ 26 is as cute as a button. To be honest I do not own a Christmas jumper but this one is beautiful. I love the blue color and the sequin gingerbread in the middle for that Christmas-y feel. 2. Lit Mink Crystal Effect Star £ 16 is a super cute crystal star wreath which I think is another great idea if you are looking for a different wreath than a traditional one. 3. Another decoration item that caught my attention is the Lit Hanging Basket £ 45. It is faux floral with led lights both great for indoor or outdoor decoration. 4. I can definitely make good use of this bumper Set of 50 Tree Decorations £ 15 which includes a selection of baubles, pine cone and felt decorations along with a beautiful tree topper. 5. I'm in desperate need of ankle boots at the moment and these Block Heel Platform Ankle Boots £ 65 with 9.5 cm heel look super cool!
6. The Gold Sequin Wrap Skirt £ 42 looks perfect for the season when wore with a white shirt. 7. This Lit Gold Ivy Garland £ 25 with warm LEDs is your perfect fireplace decoration. 8. None of my wishlists are complete without a fragrance. Instead of going for other brands I usually go for my pick this time is the Just Pink Bumper Gift £ 20 set. It's a fresh, green floral fragrance with soft fruits and pink blossoms. The gift set includes an EDP, body wash, body lotion, bath essence and a body spirtz. 9. There is nothing that makes you feel warmer in the festive winter season than a lantern. This beautiful Bark Lantern £ 14 is my favorite Christmas decoration. 10. Last but not the least, getting in bed with this Brushed Cotton Woven Check Bed Set £ 35 - £ 65 will surely make me dream of Santa! I love the reindeer motifs on the bed sheet and pillows along with check pattern duvet in a lightly brushed fabric which gives it a soft, warm and cosy feel.
