Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 'Pink Blossom'

Hi Sweethearts,
After using the Kate Moss 103 Lasting Finish Matte I really wanted to try something else from this brand, since I loved the quality of Rimmel's products & also that these have really convenient price tags. My next purchase from Rimmel:

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 'Pink Blossom'

I have the most challenging skin - combination! This means my T-zone is oily most of the times. I'm always looking for something which keeps my T-zone matte! This time I tried Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the shade 'Pink Blossom'.
The first thing I like about this pressed powder is that it's a really good product with an affordable price tag. It comes in 14 g pull off lid container. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is perfect for a matte finish. I use it with a kabuki brush all over my face with more emphasis on T-zone. If, like myself, you prefer pressed powder with light coverage this is THE ONE for you. It might 'look' heavy in the container but is pretty transparent once you apply it to your skin. However, you can built it up a little layer by layer. The finish is matte & smooth with no shine.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder comes in 5 shades.

Transparent
Pink Blossom
Peach Glow
Sandstorm
Silky Beige

If you're using a liquid foundation underneath you'll see an amazing flawless matte finish to your skin. I personally think it goes better with liquid foundations than with cream/mousse foundations. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder promises 5 hours of natural shine control with minerals. Since I have a really shiny T-zone it did a good job keep it matte for at least 3 hours straight. The only downside with this product is that it might set into your fine lines & creases if you overdo it.
Overall, its a quality product worth a try.
Have you tried Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder yet?

  15. I have combination skin too which is tricky but I also LOVE this product, have it in the shade transparent. Not only does it keep shine away for a long time, but it doesn't take away the dewy-ness of my new foundation so I don't have that 'cardboard effect' I just recently reviewed this on my blog actually! Great review :)

  17. Where'd you get this? :) I'm thinking of getting sandstorm for a hint of colour, but transparent will do just fine as well. Does this one have a hint of colour?

    1. Well it gives a very very slight hint of color. Works for me since I have pale yellow undertone. :)

  18. Hey, I love your review and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is such an amazing product! I've never tried any other shade apart from transparent, is there is a huge difference between them? Jenny x
