Dear Lovelies,

Hope everyone is keeping themselves warm in this cold season and taking good care. Today I will be reviewing The Body Shop's Ginger Anti Dandruff Shampoo. The need for an anti dandruff shampoo comes with the harsh cold weather. Even though I do not suffer from dandruff, in winters my scalp becomes overly dry, itchy with dandruff showing up around the crown area. This maybe due to the fact that I take shower with very hot water which not only results in dry skin but dry scalp too. I had noticed Ginger Anti Dandruff Shampoo at The Body Shop when I went there to purchase my all time favourite Rainforest Shine Shampoo and thought it would be a nice gift for my younger sister who has serious dandruff issues. Plus I can also experience if this really works for my flaky scalp.

The Ginger Anti Dandruff Shampoo comes in a plastic darkest brown bottle with a screw cap and a lid. The shampoo look clear and has medium consistency. I apply a small amount on the palms of my hands, mix a little amount of water and rub till it lathers. I massage it gently onto my scalp and rinse thoroughly. Since The Body Shop shampoos are mild in nature these don't lather into tons of foam like other shampoos. I love the mild ginger root scent which is pleasant and refreshing in the shower. It not at all overpowering hence doesn't last long and fades as your hair dry naturally.

The first thing that anyone will notice after using this shampoo is it's ability to calm down your itchy scalp. My hair feel so tamed and relaxed even after the first wash. The shampoo however leaves my hair dry so I always use a good deep conditioner after every wash, else my hair get super charged. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers dandruff and sensitive, itchy scalp especially during winters. For others who suffer serious dandruff, like my sister might want to look for alternative options. She used this shampoo for a week or so and did see a little improvement but this shampoo did not completely solve her dandruff issue. On the other hand it worked great for me who gets a seasonal dry scalp. My hair felt more manageable and soft after ever wash. Overall, The Body Shop Ginger Anti Dandruff Shampoo is a good quality natural shampoo made with an eco-conscious formula that helps control dandruff and flaky scalp.

  2. I've only ever tried Banana shampoo and conditioner from TBS but didn't really like it... As for dandruff tips my best is to go to a doctor so he can prescribe a special shampoo/treatment depending on the type of dandruff. I personally have never suffered from it, but my mum did and doctor's shampoo helped her. X

  7. To delve deeply into Anti-Dandruff is an exciting adventure. Many an afternoon has been enjoyed by a family, bonding over the discussion of Anti-Dandruff. While it has been acknowledged that it has an important part to play in the development of man, its influence on western cinema has not been given proper recognition. Inevitably Anti-Dandruff is often misunderstood by those most reliant on technology, who just doesn’t like that sort of thing. Complex though it is I shall now attempt to provide an exhaustive report on Anti-Dandruff and its numerous 'industries'.

  17. Dandruff affects around 50% of the adult world population. It predominantly impacts hair quality and scalp skin. Common cause for hair dandruff involves your scalp is sensitive to something you're using on it. This is especially true if the scalp is more sensitive to certain chemicals in your shampoo or hair oil.
