My Christmas Décor - Update III

Hi Sweethearts,

I know I've been away for a while. That's only because I'm so busy right now with Christmas preps. :) Hopefully I'll be back after Christmas with lots of new reviews & posts. However, I do want to share a really interesting post today.

DIY Christmas Origami Flowers

Origami is a traditional 17th century AD Japanese art of paper folding. While looking around over the internet for DIY Christmas décor I came across a lot of beautiful paper flowers & therefore decided to give it a try myself. They looked beautiful! Today I thought of doing a detailed post on how I created these paper flowers. These are really easy & cheap to make. Plus you do not need to purchase anything expensive. The only thing I bought was glitter because I had none at home but you can even use you old makeup glitter if you're no longer using that.

Things you'll need:

  • Square shaped paper
  • Colorful art glitter/old cosmetic glitter
  • Glue
  • Scissors (to make you paper a perfect square shape)
  • Ribbon

Voila! Ultimately you glue together all the petals to create a flower. You can change the size of the flowers to your own liking. You can also glue a ribbon loop to it if you want to hang these on your Christmas tree. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial as much as I did creating these flowers out of paper.

So are you going to try make these flowers yourself?
Do leave a link below if you write about it. I'd love to check it out.

Jusqu'à ce que la prochaine fois amoureux!
